Charlottesville – ‘Indie Short Film Series’ September Showcase – Sept 21 – $20

The Indie Short Film Series is thrilled to announce its upcoming installment at the historic Vinegar Hill Theatre on Saturday, September 21st, at 7:30 PM. This exciting event, sponsored by Lifeview Marketing & Visuals and co-sponsored by Jim McVay & Sita Aldrete, promises an evening of captivating storytelling through a selection of 7-9 independent international and domestic short films.

The event will feature a diverse array of short films, followed by a panel discussion with visiting filmmakers. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to engage with the creators and gain insights into the filmmaking process. As a special highlight, the audience will vote for their favorite film, with the winner receiving the prestigious Audience Choice Award.

Past editions of the Indie Short Film Series have showcased films that went on to receive an Emmy Award and were screened at renowned festivals like the Sundance Film Festival. This series continues its mission to celebrate storytelling and promote diverse voices in film, providing a platform for both emerging and established filmmakers to share their work.
