Offered by the top-rated nonprofit From the Heart Productions, this grant provides $3,000 in cash and thousands more in industry services to support independent filmmakers in bringing their short films to life.

Who Should Apply?
The grant is open to student and independent filmmakers working on narrative fiction short films (live-action or animation) up to 40 minutes in length. We are looking for unique projects that make a meaningful contribution to society.

Every filmmaker who submits an application is offered a free 15-minute consultation with Carole Joyce, a From the Heart Productions board member. She will offer expert guidance on funding, donor outreach, and marketing strategies.
