Arlington – Crew call for short film – Aug 21-22 – paid

This is a call for crew members on the non-union short film, Auto Plus.

Shooting August 21st and 22nd, potentially half a day on August 20th or 23rd as well. Filming 2-2.5 days. Filming in Arlington, VA.

Written by Sina Pooresmaeil, a rising third year at Columbia University’s graduate acting program. Being directed by Faranak Sahafian, a Columbia MFA film director. With Columbia MFA actor Joshua C Thomas as well as Sina Pooresmaeil performing.

Looking for experienced DP, sound mixer, AD, grip, and gaffer. If DC/DMV local a plus. Also if coming with own equipment a plus. Pay rate is negotiable.

Production Days: 12-14 hours MAXIMUM.
Setting: Northern Virginia (Arlington)
Story: A young man has lost his father to the Covid pandemic and decides to close the family business, but needs to deal with one last customer to do so.
