CHARLOTTESVILLE – CASTING CALL FOR STUDENT SHORT FILM – SEPTEMBER 2024 – UNPAID

The UVA Film Program is directing a student film reenactment of a scene from The Bear Season 2 Episode 6 “Fishes” where Mikey famously throws his fork.

Casting Call:
– DONNA (40-70 W): An unstable matriarch who just finished cooking for a huge family dinner under extremely stressful situations.
– UNCLE LEE (40-70 M): A man with a big mouth whose faint connections to the family make him often feel out of place.
-CICERO (40-70 M): A shrewd yet successful businessman who knows how to handle situations that can potentially turn for the worse.

Schedule: September 8th, 2024 (Donna only) & September 15th, 2024 (Everyone Else)

Important Notes:

This is an unpaid project, and no travel, transport, or housing will be provided.
All actors will have access to the completed film for their reels.
The film will be submitted to various festivals, giving actors an opportunity for exposure.
