Log Line: To avoid eviction from his home, a struggling cartoonist gets a new roommate to help pay the bills, only to find himself living with a freeloader who may not even be human.

NON-UNION, unpaid student film filming November 15th-17th in the Virginia Beach, VA area. Unpaid, but food on set + access to the film for reels + IMDb credit + submissions to festivals is provided.

Lonnie Romero (25-35): a neurotic cartoonist for a popular newspaper comic strip, struggling to live up to the legacy of his predecessor. He is desperate to find a roommate to help keep the lights on.

Claude Frye (20-40): a bug in human form. He is a freeloading conman with a dry sense of humor, looking to mooch off of his latest victim, Lonnie. He is the embodiment of all that is dirty, unkempt, and disgusting.

Special Notes: We invite individuals of all ages, experiences, abilities, ethnic backgrounds, gender expressions, and sexualities to audition.

Both characters will be involved in a choreographed fight scene.

The actor cast as Claude Frye will be in heavy amounts makeup at times and possibly wearing contact lenses.
